Brandon Astle
Play By Play This is Brandon's first season with the Chiefs after completing his diploma at Columbia Academy. He has been around hockey all is his life and had a brief career in the KIJHL with the Creston Valley Thundercats at the age of 17 before moving on to call games for the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs and the Men's National Ball Hockey Championships. When he's not cheering for the Chiefs, you can find him rooting on the Canucks.
Colin Emberson
Home Colour Commentator
Colin recently finished his Broadcast Journalism diploma at Columbia Academy in Vancouver. He is a huge Vancouver Canucks fan and is a database for historical information on the team. This is his first season with the Chiefs doing the team’s colour commentary at home games. In his past time he enjoys playing poker and enjoying frozen yogurt while watching the Canucks.
Rick Taron
Director of Volunteers
Rick has been involved with local junior hockey since the beginning of the Langley Thunder. As a local businessman this is a fun to way to give back to the community. As Director of Volunteer Staff, it is his responsibility to ensure that all the people are in place in order to bring exciting junior hockey to the community of Langley. Rick says, “This time of year is always fun” and he appreciates the loyal volunteers at every game.
Brian Sinclair
Public Address Announcer
Brian has diplomas in Communications Media and Marketing and a great deal of experience working in the WHL, BCHL, and WLA. He loves sports and is an experienced MC and DJ in addition to also owning his own business, Sinclair Sound. He considers himself a hockey trivia master and challenges anyone to try him!
